Shift Schedule:

6A-6P - Work FT hours in just 3-4 days per week!! Every other weekend required. 


Primary Purpose:

Ensure cheese is clean and ready for packaging



-      Inspect each wheel of cheese and clean any mold, debris, rough edges or other imperfections using tools provided (shaver, brush, etc.)

-      Re-Salt or De-Salt cheese utilizing tote system

-      Buff cheese utilizing a buffing machine

-      Clean and wash racks as needed

-      Lift and carry cheese to and from the work station

-      Work in other areas as assigned (i.e.: Brine, Cure, Packaging)

-      Complete sanitations tasks utilizing food grade chemicals, hoses and manual scrubbing

-      Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s), PPE and other safety related requirements


Education, Experience, Qualities and Skills Required:

-      Able to write legibly, do simple math, read and complete daily paperwork

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

-      Work environment is physical and involves continuous lifting of 25-30 lbs.  Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.  Must be able to bend, squat and twist.  Must be able to stand for a full 8-12 hour shift.  Vision must be adequate to properly inspect and clean cheese.
